The SQLSaturday show is coming to Brisbane again in 2015. Put a reminder in your calendar now for Saturday 28th March, 2015. Your free day of SQL Server and Business Intelligence (BI) training from some of Australia’s leading SQL Server experts. Apart from the sessions, this is a great day for you to meet and talk to like minded SQL Server and BI professionals as well as network with some SQL Server MVP’s and MCM’s. This year we at the SQLSaturday Brisbane Admin team are going to try something a little different. We are going to put on 3 different types of sessions to enhance your experience for the day.
Standard Sessions
The beloved standard 1 hour sessions will be running all day, allowing you to get the most out of your Saturday and learn about a range of topics that you are interested in. Better yet, if you’ve got SQL knowledge that’s worth sharing then we want you to present. Just ensure that you select a Session Level of Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced
Lightning Talks
For the first time we are providing Lightning Talks at the event. A Lightning Talk is a 10 minute presentation on a topic. If you have never spoken before then these are a great way for you to have a go at sharing your knowledge at a free event and you only speak for 10 minutes. Submit your session know and share with the SQL Community in Brisbane. Just ensure that you select a Session level of Lightning Talk
Double Sessions
As well as the Lightning Talks we are offering a couple of Double Sessions for the first time to allow a deeper insight into a couple of topics. If you have a big topic that needs more than 1 hour, then submit your topic and ensure you put “Inside this Double Session” in the first line of your session description.
To take advantage of this free event where you can meet some like minded SQL Server and Business Intelligence professionals and take some great little pieces of information away with you. Registrations for the event are open and available. Speaker Session submissions are open and available also until 27th January, 2015.
Another thing that we are bringing for the event are a couple of Pre-Conference Sessions that will be run on Friday 27th March, 2015. Stay tuned for updates about Pre-Conference sessions and how you can book for your 1 day of training.
